Our head chef is Mark Brankin, whose 11 year career has been spent creating dishes in 1 and 2 AA Rosette awarded restaurants.  In his first ever position as head chef, he was awarded a Michelin Bib Gourmand. 
 

One of Mark's high profile positions was working as head chef with Anthony Flinn (also famous for topping the swearing polls during the BBC 2 series Great British Menus!) at his Flannels restaurant. While heading the kitchen team here, the Hardens Restaurant Guide said it was the place to go for 'the best lemon tart in Yorkshire'. Mark also worked closely with Anthony on many high profile events for such clients as Louis Vuitton and Paul Smith at new shop openings in Leeds and Manchester.

He joins us from the 4 star rated Hollins Hotel and Country Club where he was executive head chef in charge of three kitchens which included a conference and banqueting kitchen.  Another of Mark's specialities is his pastry making which is a bonus as Moyles makes all of its own.   

Mark is excited about taking over at Moyles and says: "after working with Anthony Flinn for two years, this is one of the few restaurants in the area where I feel I can achieve my own personal goals as well as take Moyles forward to two Rosettes.
